I'm back.....

Morning

We've had a wonderful holiday, we spent our days sunning ourselves on a lovely beach, a bit of sightseeing and a little bit of shopping, but todays the "big move day" so I'm going to be busy, busy busy for a few days!!!

Holiday time....

I managed to dodge the rain yesterday on my way to the post office to post some goodies off to Clare who won my giveaway,

where's the sunshine gone???

It's certainly not showing its face here in the North East but hopefully it will be in Tenerife, as we go on holiday on Friday for two weeks yippppeeeeeeeee

Into the case go my swimwear.....

and, as my "bot" will be firmly glued to a sun lounger......

Before I go here's the bags I made for the new bathroom,

sewn from pretty CK fabrics and extra wide rick rack that Christine from "this and that" sent me, I think it ties them together nicely.

I'm pleased with the way this bag turned out, made from  Britania fabric, but I added a long shoulder strap to it and  a Stanley button, I'm soooo in love with CK fabrics can you tell??? lol

Bundles of fluff and a winner...

Arn't they the most utterly gorgeous little bundles of fluff you ever did see???

All 13 of them just sat for a few minutes while we took some piccies of them in the park yesterday, and then mammy duck quacked and they all jumped in the pond for a swim, Alexa was so pleased she wanted to jump in with them 'till I told her the water was for ducks only!!

We didn't get to visit Beamish on Monday instead we went to Ikea to get a few more things for the  house and some  more cardboard boxes to finish the packing.

When we got back it was hot and sunny so we emptied all the patio pots, cut the grass and painted the oblisk while drinking cloudy apple and ginger fizz...

..."delicious" (and on offer from M&S!)

I cut a couple of bunches of lilac from the bush at the front of the house, it smells lovely, and the sewing machine has been busy again, I made a couple of shoe bags  to hang on a rail in the bathroom and I've nearly finished another bag made from CK fabric, pics to follow.

There's only the kitchen to pack up now and that will have to wait until Sunday, anyway onto the part you've all been waiting for....
