Sweetpea Cottage...

At the side of our garden we have a summer house called "sweetpea cottage" (by me) and it's where I escape to whenever I have 5 minutes, would you like a look inside?? .

I like the Cath Kidstone chair but it's not that comfy,  I pack everything into a CK bag wether it be my knitting, pen's and paper for writing letter's to my pen friends or those wonderful christmas magazines that keep popping through my letterbox this month.

On the shelves are my painted stone's of animal's that  a lady called Denise paint's for me and there's fabric heart's hanging on the wall's, I light lot's of scented candle's usually vanilla but I'll swap those for some cranberry and orange one's now it's christmas time.

and I've hung a string  of storm lantern's round the ceiling with a chandelier hanging  in the middle. Elusion's of grandeur eh!!!

Lit by candle's and it's all sooo cosy I never want to go back indoor's!!!

Miss Goose stand's guard at the door, I'm not sure who she's guarding me from but she does a good job!!!

We even have a little stove for chilly evening's and while it won't toast marshmallow's it does keep your toes warm.

Anyone for tea and cake's there's no calorie's in the knitted one's!!! Don't you just love the long tom mug's???

As you read this you'll know where I was sitting when I wrote it....Sweetpea Cottage.   Happy reading  Lucey xx

Mind you I'd like a garden first...

Ooooh I am so envious, I want a retreat like this. Maybe one-day when I can put all my girly cosy things in one place. I wait patiently, for now I will admire your lovely space.
