Armoire...

What a lovely sunny day we've had today, and as I was in the mood for playing house  off I went up the stairs this morning to do just that!!!

I papered the back of the armoire with some lovely wisteria paper...hmmm...have you ever seen wisteria growing upwards instead of down??? well you have now!!!

Once the back was prettied up I started to fill the shelves, and I mean fill, where did all that come from???

Second shelf full of lovely red sewing tins etc, looks like a real radio in the back there.

The roses tins are filled with ribbons etc and the box in front is full of buttons, and to the right are some goodies allready made/bought for swaps.

The bottom shelf  has  two wine crates with  fabric in them although if I  want to make something I never have the right fabric so have to buy more, do you find that? and there's a couple of covered books in between.

All very tidy but how long will that last???
This room used to be Dylan's room but as he only occasionally stays over, last night Roger the lodger moved the bed out for me so now it's my room... Want a peak???

I'm standing at the door and along the left wall are fitted mirror wardrobes, oposite wall has the window, back wall , armoire,  little table and chair,

I've just used this Cath Kidston garden chair until I find "just the right chair" for the corner, but pretty enough for now, and along the right wall,

a little green fold up table to put the lamp and a cuppa on. I can put my laptop in here and shut myself away blogging to my heart's content, but now I must go and raid the freezer for something to eat for tea otherwise it will be fresh air in a bun!!!

Love Lucey xx

Hi Lucey!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Armoir, id love one but I have no space left anywhere!
Thanks for your commnent yesterday, in response to your Q's, The Red Riding hood book was from a gift/home wares shop on a corner by the Castle, I think it was called 'Look' or something, not sure though sorry. You can get them in lots of similar shops though and i think they even sell them in Waterstones book shops.

The 1940's weekend is in Haworth West Yorkshire in May. I will add a link on my last post where I mention it.
