Cloths...

Ohhh my polka dot tea pot is just right for a cuppa on a sunny afternoon, do you think we've turned the corner with the weather now??? I  hope so.

I got a couple of cloths from e bay recently, the first one has little cottages embroidered on it, and the colours are so vivid,

there's a couple of birds flying over and it even has smoke drifting from the chimney.

In the corners are beautifully embroidered flowers all worked in a thick embroidery cotton making everything stand out.

The second one has crinoline ladies embroidered on it in very pale muted colours

fancy having the patience to embroider all this x 4!! the stitches are so tiny.

It was only when I went to take the cloth off the table I realised I'd had it on back to front silly me, (should have gone to specsavers!!) it was even better on the other side.

My sister arrived in her estate car at tea time with a large white chest of drawers and an amoire for me as she didn't want them any more, can't wait to show you the pics of the amoire as theres loads of room for all my lovely tins and crafty bits.

Right I'm off to bed shortly as we have to be up early in the morning,

night all,

love Lucey xx

Crinoline ladies seem to be popping up all over blogland at the moment - it must be the sunshine bringing them out!

Beautiful cloths. When we moves I counted mine up and had over 60! I ended up selling half of them and it hurt because they were so damn beautiful.
