On Saturday we went for a walk,
we passed some sweet little houses,
licked delicious ice creams
under the bunting,
saw all the latest fashions,
admired beautiful buildings,
saw wonderful hanging baskets,
enjoyed a cream tea,
and brought Stanley home with us!!

Spooky! we also went to York today and i bought the very same stanley brooch a bargain £4! The weather was fab and we ate out side at a lovely italian restraunt in one of the court yards near the slug and lettuce, it was fab. I also bought a tiny cath kidston bag in a red design, just think we may have passed each other!! love,Linda x
We went to York a couple of weeks ago...I didn't buy stanley the brooch tho!!!
That looks like a wonderful day out, I keep trying to persuade my hubbie to come to York but he is not keen... perhaps I'll leave him at home:)

A dreamy day out, and forget about work. In the fall I plan on doing some day trips like this.
ok, when I come to England I'm definitely visiting York...how far is York from Devon? I want to stay at the Innkeepers Wife's place and shop at Cath Kidston!
York is such a great town to walk around in. I wish I wasn't thousands of miles away from it. I could wander aimlessly for days there, just eyeing the shop windows, and tucking into some of the best bakeries. Let me keep dreaming...
