Not long now till "the big day"
all the presents are wrapped and under the tree, we've done the big shop, the house is shining like a new pin, the doggies are bathed and I'm erm.....knackered!!

So I'm going to sit in the snug with a nice magazine a slice of chocolate log and a large sherry,
as soon as dusk falls I'll be lighting loads of candles and I've got "the snowman" to watch.

On second thoughts I might just have 40 winks!!

HE HE! knackered did make me smile, thats how I feel today. Did a family tea party yesterday for 16....6 of them children under 8...erm shall we say we had two orange juice spills, one lemonade and one coke.....and copious wiping of faces through eating chocolate pennies. I did two days of baking...eeeekkk!....spent today tidying up on my tea blog break and catching up.

Knackered is a great word,that's exactly how I feel lol and the visitors have not all arrived yet..o'h well Santa bring it on and before you know it the next one will be here,is it because we are getting older that time is going so fast! I am not sure but it is a lovely time of year ..
