"New Pin"...

Hi girls,  the snow's finally left us so yesterday I decided I would give the house a good clear out as it was rather messy!!! Now,  there's Mr Lucey, Me,  3 doggies and... Roger the lodger...only kidding he's not a real lodger he's our lovely 25 year old  son .  J seems like a "roger the lodger " in that he sleeps out more than he sleeps in these days, he's either out partying or he's at a girls house, not a girlfriend you understand just a girl   friend  and he's nocturnal as he seems to only go out when I'm off to bed. Anyway  getting back to the cleaning how can 2 1/2 people and 3 dogs make so much mess  we only live in a 3 bed semi not a mansion but it took me all day and there was 2 trips to the skip involved, I must admit when I'd finished the house shone like a new pin!!! So today was the "outside" part of clearing up but.... yes you've guessed ...it snowed in the night so I'm staying indoors with a cup of hot choccy...blast the calories, and I can't decide if I should  read some of the lovely books I got for christmas or... to try out the crochet, decisions... decisions.

Bye for now

love Lucey xx

Lucey,
I would love it if you were to pop in for a cup of cocoa! It would make my week! And very tough choice, reading or creating something crocheted... Both wonderful options!

I had a mad moment of housework ,yesterday, when I washed all the floors...boy did it need doing!!
Mind you, when I stood back and admired the clean and shiny look,it was worth all the effort!
;-)
P.S. I too have a 'Roger the lodger' of exactly the same age!

Well done you for getting the house so clean. I have really good intentions, make a start, then get distracted... Must try harder! xx

I cleaned the house form top to bottom yesterday also. At least this snow is good for something!

I'm supposed to be cleaning today, but instead I'm off out for shopping, coffee and cake!
Thanks for your comment in my blog - my wristwarmers are in stocking stitch and were very easy to knit.
