Squirrels....

(This is Mr Squirrel in York)

I couldn't believe it yesterday when I was washing up a gorgeous fluffy tailed squirrel was sauntering along the street, but by the time I'd got the camera out he was running across the road back towards the cemetery, I ran along (in my slippers!!) to see him but he'd dissapeared.

So I thought I'd make an Autumn display in the kitchen with my own squirrels, I got the wreath from Ikea and glued some pine cones on it, to make it look autumnal

I love this big silver acorn I got from Angel & Rose last christmas,

chubby Mr Squirrel is a painted stone,

Isn't he a handsome little chap???

I just need a few leaves and its ready.

Today's a whole year since I entered bloggyland and I love it,

Happy birthday Lemonade Kitty!!!

Happy Birthday! I like you all the more because you ran down the street in your slippers, wielding a camera and chasing a squirrel! We're kindred spirits! :D

Beautiful autumnal display! Squirrels always remind me of Squirrel Nutkin, the Beatrice Potter book!
