Spring bulbs...

A couple of weeks ago I planted up my "witches hat" baskets with spring bulbs

they've all come through filling the baskets with a bit of colour,

I love the colour of grape hyacinths, when our  daughter Rachel married her late husband Paul it was February and I asked the florist to make my corsage with spring flowers and she'd put grape hyacinths in it, it was lovely.

My snowdrops have now died off but before they did I picked a little bunch and put some ivy leaves around them and put them in a champagne glass filled with moss and took them to the cemetery

I just snapped the base of the glass off and stuck it in the ground.

When we were in the supermarket we picked up these conifers, they were selling them off at £2.50 each,  I fancy some tall lead planters to give a bit of height  but the ones I like are £150 each so I think I'll have to look for some tin ones instead!!

Blogger won't let me select any more photos as it says I'm using 100% of space and I have to purchase more space. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me??? I've deleated my first post with photos on but it still says the same.

So I'll have to show you my other photos later when I work out how to put them on!!

Short but sweet, as the saying goes.....

Love Lucey xx

They look very pretty! You are brave, I haven't stepped out into my garden this year other than to have a look at my hellebores. I must get out there soon, the weeds are springing up grrr x

lovely flowers. my hyacinths are just pushing through now, it's lovely to see some colour. We went to Brighton yesterday and found the florists crammed with pussy willow and cherry blossom.

Hi Lucey

Yes it was me! I had the same problem a few weeks back. It's due to the fact that once I loaded pics via my camera to the lappy I did not resize them. My blog was full and the only way I found to get round this was to resize my pics that were on my blog. I used windows live photo gallery, clicked on the resize button and then custom sized it to 400. A duplicate resized photo then appears and you can use this new one in the old ones place.

I could not resize the photos on my picasa blog album ( that's the one that stores all our blog photos, including the ones we use for giveaway's, sidebars etc)

I had to work my way through each post and delete the original photo and replace it with the resized one.

Im not sure if there is an easier way to do this, I could not find one after asking in blogland and searching the net.
I have now hardly used any of my storage space now that everything has been resized.

If you need a hand just shout, I'm not the best at the techie stuff but I will try and help you.

Please note that this should read :-

I could not resize the photos on my picasa blog album ( that's the one that stores all our blog photos, including the ones we use for giveaway's, sidebars etc) direct, they might be a hidden button somewhere.
