Snowman Bunting

With everywhere looking like a winter wonderland it makes me want to get the Christmas tree and fairy lights out again!!

There's always a couple of decorations that stay out after christmas  and the little white cottage that lights up is is one of them,
and this  bunting is the other.

Just right in this snowy weather, does anyone else do this or is it only me???

Mr Blackbird looks rather chilly with his feet in the snow, maybe I should knit him a warm scarf and a little bobble hat,

and I feel like bringing these snow covered hyacinths in aswell as it's sooooo cold!!

Being indoors means I've had lots of "knitting days" and at long last I've nearly finished Alexa's cardigan and I'm quite pleased with it,

I was panicking a bit but I think there's just enough wool left to finish the front band, just need to pick some pretty buttons now and she can wear it....I hope it fit's.

Flicking through the new Cath Kidston brochure I think I feel a new bag coming on...

and a dress...

and a mug or two for a nice big brew!!

Stay warm in this snowy weather,

and above all....

Your little cardie is beautiful!! She will love it I'm sure. I keep the odd bit out after christmas too I have two red hurricane lamps still in the kitchen and fairy lights around one of my mirrors. I love your little lit house, that would be fine all year round I'd love a few of those in a row all lined up like a lit street xx

I've still got up the christmas bunting in the kitchen! Its not overly christmassy but more wintery and it will stay there another month or two yet.
The jumper is lovely just the thing.

I too keep up a few decorations. It always seems too bare to take everything down. I love the cardigan, if only I had the skills...

Love the knitting, so pretty. Browsing the CK catalogue can be an expensive past time :-)

I love your list, something tells me you will try to keep adding to it!
I think you are so right about the snowy days, i feel like they need twinkles to reflect the prettyness!

Just like you, I felt all "Xmasy" with all the snow we had last week. So, yesterday I went out and bought a big bunch of daffs to bring on the Spring! Lizzie
