There's nothing like a bunch of daffydowndillies to brighten the place up,
or a bracing walk along the sea front to blow away the cobwebs!!
As the tuck shop is now well and truly closed and the power walks have started, we walked to the headland for a bit of exercise, look how choppy the sea was and the waves were massive, I was stood well back as I'm frightened of water and especially of fish!!
There were lots of fishermen out who braved the freezing cold I hope they had their thermals on, one chap caught a huge fish that was flipping about and wasn't very happy.
I'm not sure of the name of these birds but there was loads of them all along the shore and there in the middle was a baby seagul with no mummy in sight....aw bless.
Walking back we passed the church
Imagine living in one of these houses, the views from the front windows are amazing, yes I can see me sitting with a nice glass of wine gazing out to sea, if ever I win the lottery of course, but that's highly unlikely as I don't put it on!!
Who lives in a house like this??
and here's Andy Capp propping up the bar which is just what we did before walking home to a nice beef broth salad.
Love Lucey

Ooh Daffys! I just love Daffys, my favourite flower. That looks like a lovely walk, I could do with one like that myself, I keep on going back to the tuck shop!
I do love the beach in winter, I find it invigorating.
Daffodils! One of my favourite flowers! Your pics are amazing, you can almost feel the bracing sea wind when you look at them - oh and to live in a house like those!
