Cath Kidston pinny...

Morning girls,

Do you remember this lovely hankie I got from Cath Kidston??

Well this moorning I had a spare hour so, I decided to make it into a pinny,

out come the needle,  thread and buttons

and the misses Peggy and Dolly with their pretty red ribbons. I chose the red spotty ribbon which is from East and is a bit heavier than the checked one and stitched it along the top of the hankie (or pinny)

making sure there was enough to tie around me, then I added a lovely red button at the two corners

and in less than an hour my very pretty Cath Kidston pinny was finished. Now this isn't a pinny to wear for housework or washing up, oh no, it's more  a pinny for answering the telephone  "Hyacinth Bucket style!!! "  I better go to work before you think I've completely lost the plot hehe.

I took this photo of myself in the mirror just so you could see it on...I love it!!

At the moment the sun is shining brightly you know when your windows look filthy "brightly" but earlier it was snowing, so I'd better wrap up warmly and get off to work with my tape measure (I measure boobs!!!)

My clump of snowdrops are ready to show their little faces and in two weeks time its the annual "snowdrop walk" in the village hospital grounds, such  a wonderful sight....

From a snowy, sunny,  bitterly cold North East,

Bye Love Lucey xx

I just saw your comments on Chez Sophie - our lollypop lady (when my kids were young) was called Avis!! I agree it is an unusual name though!!
