Judiths fabrics....

Hi  girls,

Ooh look where I was yesterday, browsing round this wonderful shop that was full of very pretty fabrics,

reels  of pretty ribbons, buttons of all shapes and sizes,

embroidery threads in all the colours of the rainbow

fat quarters, patterns, needles and thread in fact you name it and Judith sells it!!

Now where is this "gem" of a shop do you ask??? Well if you pass here,

and go to the top of here,

you'll find "Judiths Fabrics"

and its at Whitby where we spent the day.

I couldn't leave without buying some bits and bobs,

a few fat quarters some gorgeous buttons and some ribbons

What do you think of these buttons? cool eh I have an idea for a brooch, I wish they were wheels I'd put them on my Mini!!!

I love these clock face buttons they'll look good sewn on a stocking at Christmas if I can keep them that long.

Just around the corner is this little shop, isn't that a lovely shade of green?

Anyone fancy a cake?? I used to make cakes just like these out of fimo for my dolls house.

Just past the Abbey steps is Fortunes where Mr Lucey bought some kippers for his breakfast or "breasfast" as Dylan calls it.

It was a beautiful sunny day and being Thursday not many people about, we had a pub lunch and a mooch about and the bridge opened to let a couple of boats through.

On the way back to the car I called in Bespoke Country where I saw these lovely retro doileys and some sweetheart fairy cake cases just crying out for some little cakes to be baked in them.

We're not ones for going out on a night but we do like our days out and luckily for me Mr Lucey likes shopping as much as I do. Now let me think...where can we go tomorrow???

Bye lucey xx

What is wrong with us? I could just sit in a room full of fabric and wool and gaze and gaze at it for ever. Is that natural, well, who cares if it makes us happy.
Love your piccy's

Hi Lucey,
Oooh, I'm jealous! We went to Whitby back in October and by the time I spotted Judith's (in the miserable rain and cold), it was shut. We'll be going again and I know where I'll be headed well before 5pm!
